Glow Up From the Inside Out
My Journey!
Hey, gorgeous!
Ever notice how some people just seem to radiate positivity and have that lit-from-within glow? It’s not always about genetics or expensive products (though, let’s be real, a good highlighter helps, haha!). Often, it’s a reflection of a consistent, healthy routine coming from the most beautiful place
SELF-LOVE
Think of it this way: when you treat yourself with kindness and respect, both your mind and body thrive. And guess what? That shines through – in your mood, your energy levels, and, yes, even your skin!
I’ve been on a journey to prioritize self-love and wellness (and am still in the process). I’ve seen such a difference since I started treating myself well. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about making choices that make me feel good, inside and out.
And honey? Perfect does not exist but let me share with you few tips that make me look and feel younger even though my nicer profile is 5 years older

So now that I am though with sharing my ugliest photo with the world 😛 , let’s dive into all aspects which supported the change you can see without the need for the magnifying glass.
I am not only talking about your skin’s health but also your overall well-being and longevity. Because, honestly, what’s more attractive than someone who’s genuinely happy and healthy?
Tiny Tweaks, Big Impact: My Go-To Self-Love Routine (and What I’ve Learned)
Okay, I’m not about to tell you to overhaul your entire life overnight. Small, sustainable changes are key! I’ve tried the “all or nothing” approach before, and it always backfires. Here’s what’s been working for me – and some lessons I’ve learned along the way:
Morning Magic
Hydrate & Glow: Start your day with a big glass of water, maybe with a squeeze of lemon. It wakes up your system and gets your skin glowing. I used to skip this because I thought my morning cup of coffee is magic, but honestly, even just chugging some water while I’m still half-asleep makes a difference (pssst ! you can still have your coffee right after if you like it)!
Move Your Body: Even 15 minutes of stretching, yoga, or a quick walk can boost your mood and circulation. I’m not going to lie, getting to the gym is a struggle for me. But I found that putting on some upbeat music and just dancing around to the radio with my kids for a few minutes actually makes me feel energized! They go to school in a better mood too (bonus points)!
Affirmation Station: Look in the mirror and say something kind to yourself. I know, I know, it sounds silly, but it works! Even something simple like “I am capable,” or “I am worthy of good things coming to me today,” can set a positive tone for the day. I used to feel so silly doing this, but it gets into your bloodstream.
Skincare that Makes You Smile
KIS (Keep it Simple): You don’t need a million products. Find a gentle cleanser, a good moisturizer, and sunscreen (always!). I used to get sucked into buying every new product that promised to be a “miracle cure,” but now I focus on the basics and it’s made a world of difference. You probably also spotted as well that I loved the sun, and I still do, but always with good SFP, more frequent breaks in the shadow and good moisturizer for the night after a day out in the sun.
Listen to Your Skin: Pay attention to what your skin needs. Is it feeling dry? Maybe add a hydrating serum. Breaking out? Opt for a spot treatment with salicylic acid or ectoin. I’ve learned that my skin is way happier when I actually pay attention to its signals and are mindful to adapting my routine to the season of the year too.
Mask Moments: Once or twice a week, treat yourself to ME moment and put a face mask on. Whether it’s a hydrating sheet mask or a clay mask to detoxify, it’s a little self-care ritual that makes a difference. I love doing a face mask on Friday nights – it feels amazing meeting your friends with the glow even after a busy week.
Spot the difference 🙂

Nourish From the Inside
Eat the Rainbow: Load up on fruits (careful for glucose dosage), veggies, and healthy fats. What you eat directly impacts your skin! I’m not a huge fan of salads, so I try to sneak veggies into smoothies or soups.
Gut Check: A healthy gut equals healthy skin. Probiotics or fermented foods like yogurt or kimchi can work wonders. I started taking a probiotic over a year ago, and I’ve noticed a big difference in my digestion and my skin.
Treat Yourself (Smartly): Depriving yourself completely is no fun! We all like our guilty pleasures. Allow yourself occasional treats, but focus on balance. I love a good chocolate or ice cream, but I try to make healthier versions when I prepare them, I know what is inside and amount of sugar or sugar alike I use.
Evening Rituals for Sweet Dreams
Unplug & Unwind: Ditch the screens an hour before bed. The blue light can mess with your sleep. This is a tough one for me, but I’ve been trying to read a book instead of scrolling through social media before bed. Alternatively try blue light blocking glasses.
Relaxing Rituals: Take a warm bath with Epsom salts or warm shower followed by skin routine with essential oils, read a book, or listen to calming music. A warm shower with body brush and magnesium oil before rolling into bed it my ultimate way to de-stress.
Bonus Tip: Practice Saying “No”
This is a HUGE act of self-love! Don’t be afraid to set boundaries and say no to things that drain your energy or don’t align with your values. Your time and energy are precious! I’m still working on this one, but I’m getting better at saying no to things that don’t serve me.
It’s a Marathon, Not a Sprint!
Remember, consistency is key. You won’t see results overnight, but trust me, sticking to a healthy routine will make a world of difference in how you look and feel. Be patient with yourself, celebrate small victories, and most importantly, be kind to yourself along the way. I still have days where I fall off track, and that’s okay! The important thing is to get back on track and keep moving forward.
